Classes are filled on a first-come, first served basis and do require a minimum number of students.  Pre-payment by cash or check is required at the time of registration for all classes, workshops, or special events except for classes marked with and asterisk (*), which are offered at Loving Stitches by Fayetteville Community College and are free to students age 65 or older.  In the event a class is cancelled by Loving Stitches, it will be rescheduled or a full refund will be given.  If we are notified at least five working days in advance, store credit will be issued for any other reason.

For the comfort of all students and with safety in mind, children are allowed in classes only when they are registered students.  In consideration of the instructor and other class members, please turn off all cell phones during classes.

Because of copyright laws, copies or sharing of books,  patterns or embroidery designs  WILL NOT be allowed in classes. 
PLEASE DO NOT ASK US TO MAKE EXCEPTIONS TO THIS FEDERAL LAW.

Maintenance Class Lecture

The purpose of the Maintenance Class is to provide Gammill Owners’ knowledge of how to do General Maintenance on their machines. Proper Maintenance is so simple and it can save you both time and money. The Lecture Maintenance Class will cover information included in the Maintenance portion of your Manual with a time for Questions and Answers. You will need to bring your Gammill Quilting System Manual, a notebook and pencil.

In the Hands on Maintenance Class you will be able to learn the processes described in your maintenance manual as you do the steps with instructor guidance. Therefore you will need to bring your machine head with you. MACHINES MUST BE IN GOOD WORKING CONDITION!!!

This class is for short-arm, mid-arm and long-arm owners. Basics to get you started! Things that will be covered in this class include: loading a quilt, threading the machine with different types of thread, eliminating tension headaches, using ruler guides for stitch in the ditch, outlining and crosshatching, pantograph borders and corners, using the front mount laser, continuous curve quilting, different ways to mark a quilt, general care and maintenance of the machine and more.
