The blossoms are peeking thru on the dogwood trees.  Flowers, too, are coloring the earths’ canvas and reminding us all to give thanks for our beautiful world and all of its colors.  We have turned our clocks ahead an hour and Easter is just a few weeks ahead.  Spring is indeed upon us!  The new fabrics arriving weekly shout “SPRING!” with their beautiful array of colors and textures.  Check them out on our website or stop by the shop and enjoy the wonderful ways Angela has arranged them for your shopping enjoyment.

This newsletter we will be giving you a brief outline of what will be going on at Loving Stitches April thru June.  We will continue to mail a hard copy of the newsletter but more and more of the details and pictures will now be in our on-line version of the quarterly correspondence.  With the addition of Steve Nielsen to our staff, we will now be able to make daily updates and the site will be filled with information that is accurate and current.  Pictures and videos have been added as have details about upcoming special events and every day Steve works to make the site as user friendly as possible.  Supply lists, class and club details, photos of projects , new classes that are added, classes that are postponed or cancelled, machines, special orders, and quilting or embroidery work that are ready for pick-up, and much more will be added over the next weeks  for your convenience.  It is very exciting and we are hopeful you will embrace these changes.  If for some reason you do not have internet access allowing you to visit on-line, please feel free to call us at 630-3912 and we will be happy to furnish you with any answers or paper copies you might need.

We have added even more classes and clubs to our educational schedule and hope that you will take advantage of as many as your schedule will allow.  And to make that more cost efficient for you, we have changed our pricing and payment options for all Loving Stitches classes.  Read about the Educational Passport later in this issue.   

But that’s not all the good news…we are opening the doors to our vendor warehouses and allowing you to see all that we can provide for you!  No shipping charges, no added fees…but thousands of additional items than we can stock on a regular basis.  You can browse our virtual showroom right away in the shop and within weeks you will be able shop right from your home on our website.  All orders must be placed thru Loving Stitches and will qualify you for a special end of year drawing for one of several gift cards we will be awarding as a token of our appreciation for supporting us by making Loving Stitches your shopping destination of choice.

Finally, we are happy to announce that Kaye England, quilter extraordinaire, author, lecturer, internationally known historian, collector of antique quilts (and the most fun person I know) will be visiting us on Friday, April 18. More on that in a separate article…be sure you read all about it!
