DigiBobbE Fun Workshop!

Have fun experimenting with this new digitized bobbin embroidery technique while stitching up a few experimental pieces!  We will learn how to do bobbin embroidery on a machine embroidery unit.  The designs can also be stitched without an embroidery machine by printing the PDF templates and doing free-motion stitching but we have embroidery machines to loan if you'd like to try this fun technique and your machine is not embroidery capable.  Candlelight yarn is gorgeous stitched from the bobbin and the embroidery machine makes it quick, easy, and accurate.  Learn how to mark the pattern, hop the fabric for specific placement, and also how to combine the designs.  Embroidery machines with adjustable bobbins are required for this workshop. We are considering offering a weekly Bible-study/quilting class entitled “Women of the Bible”. As a part of the weekly study we will construct a quilt block. Not only is the block design explained as it relates to the weekly study, but color choices, etc. as they relate are explained. Want to know more? Stop by the shop or call and ask for Lisa Connelly who will assist in leading this group if you are interested. NOTE: This will be a study anyone can join at any time, perfect for our military community.
