Block of the Month & Clubs

Farmer's Wife Pony Club Sampler Quilt

A fabulous sampler quilt made of 90 different blocks! The book we will be using recreates the story told of Lucky Pony winners from 1915 for those who sold the most subscriptions to a publication called The Farmer’s Wife.

Building Block Setting Workshop

Do you have a collection of completed quilt blocks and don’t know what to do with them? Are you wondering what you will do with your Building Blocks when you are finished with all 12 of them? Come to this workshop and learn about different ways to set blocks into different quilt styles. Maybe you want to use your blocks in a table runner or other project! In this lecture type class you will see samples and be inspired to take your blocks and make something great!

Flip and Sew Table Runner

Learn how to do Prairie points and quilt as you go in this class. You can embroider in the center block or fussy cut your center block. A walking foot is a MUST for quilting.


Feathered Star

The 2013 EmbroidaBlock of the Month from Hoopsisters creates Feathered Star Blocks in several sizes which can be combined to make a 36 block wallhanging or a 120 block bed quilt! Join Donna to learn the Hoopsisters method of piecing, embellishing with embroidery, and quilting all in the hoop!

This class is a class you can't miss. You will learn so much doing this Applique Quilt, you will learn how to applique, you will learn how to re-hoop, you will learn how to use embroidery blocks with piecing to make your quilt blocks. Applique in Every Way

This class is the perfect cure for the Monday morning blues! Curious about applique Fusible, needle turn, machine, hand, and reverse on Hawaiian applique if you want to applique it, here is the place to figure out a way to do it! This student-led open sew applique class where experienced applique quilters are ready to share their passion. Applique can be formal, whimsical, in-between, done by hand or machine, and is SEW MUCH FUN!

Breakfast Club

Join us for our one hour meeting with some lecture style instruction, show-and-tells, coffee, tea and donuts. We will create a City Sampler quilt that is as unique as you are! Free Motion on Your Machine

The joy of free motion quilting on your domestic machine! No quilting machine needed to learn fun of making quilting designs to finish your projects. You will learn how to create patterns of free motion stitching on practice ‘sandwich’ of muslin and batting.

GO! with Mrs. Yuko

Have you ever been interested in the AccuQuilt GO! Cutter and wondered how it works? Do you have one and not quite sure how to use is it. Come in and enjoy a full day with Mrs. Yuko learning how to use the AccuQuilt GO! Cutter and get the basics to make ‘A Thimbleful’ quilt made all from scraps.

Come join the fun as we make this stunning wall hanging from just one jelly roll or strip set. We will divide this project up into 3 segments making each step easy to complete. This new pattern was designed by a local artist and is beautiful in any color combination.

Santa's Gift Workshop (Folded Star Hot Pad)

You can make these hot pads in any color combination to match anyone’s kitchen! They are quick and easy to make and are great gifts. Come to class and make the circle hot pad, you’ll get instructions and tips on making the other shapes as well. (All of the sewing machine work is done at the last step of the process. If you don’t want to bring your machine, you can get your hot pad ready to sew in class, and then finish at home.)

Too Tall Tree

All About Embroidery

This in-store virtual embroidery class is geared toward all brands of embroidery machines. It is designed to both inspire and educate both new and experienced machine embroiders. There will be table top demonstrations that highlight the tips and techniques covered in the lesson. Students that wish to attend Fun with Embroidery need not choose between the two classes - they can simply take a small break to join the All About Embroidery presentation.

Software Sampler Club

Virtual software training by a BERNINA Educator is presented each month with instructions for the various levels of BERNINA software owned by our customers. Then, to give you the opportunity to apply what you have learned, we provide a hands-on demo of the techniques AND instruction to a project that uses the techniques covered are given to you on a CD---that has videos!
