October 12th & 13th are special days at Loving Stitches. Nina McVeigh, a BERNINA educator, is coming! We are so excited to able to offer you three sessions where you can experience her expertise and love of all things quilting.

Nina McVeigh teaches quilting and sewing machine techniques for BERNINA. Her grandmother taught her to sew when she was very young. In fact, Nina does not remember a time when sewing was not a part of her life. Although she has a degree in education, until recently, she owned her own quilt shop and BERNINA dealership. During the 14 years of owning her own shop she developed and taught her original patterns and designs in BERNINA Clubs and Classes. Nina is an avid quilter, heirloom sewer and loves to do all kinds of embellishment. She is a collector of scissor, buttons and thread! She and her husband Pat live in Stevens Point, Wisconsin and have four children, one cat and a frog.

If you read Through The Needle Magazine (and you should, it's free at www.bernina.com), you may have seen her Peaches and Cream Table Runner in Issue 9. A beautiful piece full of pintucks, circular appliqué, and decorative stitches in lovely delicate colors.

Nina will be hosting two classes on Friday, October 12th where she will demonstrate the BERNINA quilt frame, Quiltmotion and the Quilters' Creative Touch, BERNINA's amazing new software tablet that you've seen in the shop. If you've are interested in this exciting new product or just have questions about how it works, this is the event for you. Seating is limited, so call the shop and save your space today. Sessions run from 9-12 or 1-4.

Saturday, Nina will be hosting a trunk show where she will show an assortment of projects and highlight various techniques some of which she will demonstrate. Everyone who attends will receive a CD with the projects instructions. Saturday's trunk show is from 10-12.

Note that these are three different workshops and must be registered for separately.
