Store Policy Regarding Classes and Special Events

Classes are filled on a first-come, first served basis and require a minimum number of students. Pre-payment by cash or check is required at the time of registration for all “NON-CLASSPORT” classes, workshops, or special events offered by Loving Stitches. Fayetteville Technical Community College classes are offered at Loving Stitches also and are free to students age 65 or older. Payment for those classes should be made at the FTCC campus or at Loving Stitches during the first scheduled class in a series. NON-CLASSPORT classes will be refunded or store credit will be issued if the class is cancelled by Loving Stitches.
In the event a workshop or Special Event is cancelled by Loving Stitches, it will be rescheduled or a full refund will be given. However, because of the payment policy of guest instructors, any cancellations made up to one month prior to an event will be refunded less a 30% Administration Fee. For the same reason, in the four week time frame that immediately precedes a special event or workshop there will be no refunds or store credits granted.
Unless stated otherwise, class fees cover the cost of instruction only. To enable us to continue to offer affordable classes and workshops, it is requested that class supplies be purchased at Loving Stitches. If you have your own machine, you are welcome to bring it to any class or club. Please have a basic knowledge of how your machine operates and make sure it is in good working order. You may also rent a machine to use in class if you request it at the time of registration.
Supply lists will be available in hard copy at the registration desk at Loving Stitches as well as on the Loving Stitches website. It is the responsibility of the student to gather the supplies needed prior to the start date of the class, club, workshop or event.
For the comfort of all students and with safety in mind, children are allowed in classes only when they are registered students. In consideration of the instructor and other class members, please turn off all cell phones or put your ringer on vibrate during classes.
Because of copyright laws, copies or sharing of books, patterns or embroidery designs WILL NOT be allowed in classes. PLEASE DO NOT ASK US TO MAKE EXCEPTIONS TO THIS FEDERAL LAW.
