Garment Making: Christmas Loungewear
You won’t believe how quickly elastic waist lounge pants (PJs) can be whipped up on your serger!! You can make matching pants for the whole family in a weekend! Lounge pants are loose and comfy making them easy to “fit” with minimal effort. They can be made in cotton woven, knit, flannel, fleece, or whatever fabric you’d like to try! We will be sewing these pants completely on the serger!
The pattern used is the “Walk the Plank Bottoms Adult Unisex” pattern which is a free download from Patterns for Pirates. In order to download your pattern, add it to your cart and checkout. There is no need to provide credit card information when checking out with a free pattern.

Print the pattern before coming to class. If you’ve never worked with PDF patterns and need assistance, bring your printed pages to class for help in assembling. You can either trace your pattern using red dot tracing fabric or tracing paper, or cut the original at the size you need.
Make sure your serger is in good working order and remember to bring your manual!
