Somewhere in Time

These seven quilts were all inspired by studying 19th century quilts, learning from the layouts, border choices, and most of all, the relaxed attitude that accompanies quilts of this time period. I enjoy leaving a few triangles 'askew', using a wide variety of border units and not making things too organized. I do profess that you try and piece cleanly, but if you don't have some joy in the journey, I'm not sure why you would be willing to take the trip. Feel free to take liberty with changes, design your own style and most importantly, enjoy the process.
